Tomorrow's Cross Country meet on 9/11 will be at 4:00 pm at Cottonwood Community School campus. We have an early release tomorrow which means dismissal from school will be 1:45. Cross country runners will need to go home how they normally do and will need their own transportation to CCS. Please try and have your child at CCS by 3:40. They cannot stay at the school because their will be no supervision for them as all teachers will be in their PLC meetings or Conferences. I am sorry for the inconvenience. Today our cross country team will have its 2nd meet at Clarkdale-Jerome School. It will begin at 4:00 pm. We will have transportation to the meet but there will be NO transportation back to DDB. You will need to pick your child up at Clarkdale-Jerome school. The meet will be done between 5:00-5:30. Please try and be on time when picking up your child. Reminder!! Our first cross country meet is tomorrow at 4:00 in Camp Verde (Camp Verde High School) We will have transportation to the meet, however, there will be NO TRANSPORTATION home! A parent or guardian will need to pick them up from the meet which will end around 5:15 to 5:45. Jerseys were passed out today. (Tops only) Please have your child wear black, gray, or navy blue shorts if possible! We would like to match and look like an organized team! Dear Guardians,
There has been a change to our cross country schedule! Mr. Sandoval will now be coaching the cross country team on the DDB campus! After a little over a week of practices I believe it is in the best interest of our runners that we work out at our own campus. We were losing too much valuable time waiting for transportation to the CCS campus. The dates of the meets that were on the paper I sent home yesterday will stay the same. ******There will be no transportation home from Camp Verde. (8/29) You will need to pick your child up from Camp Verde High School.********
Practices:
We will continue to hold practices on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The new practice time will be from 3:30 to 4:30. You can pick up your child from Dr. Daniel Bright.
COCSD App:
I will be utilizing the COCSD App the remainder of the year to communicate about athletics to you. This app is new to us but I believe it will be very beneficial to get the information you're looking for and get it quickly. I recommend downloading the app. I have attached the QR code to help with downloading the app.
