Yesterday, our Verde Tech students attended the 2025 Construction Science Technology Apprenticeship Fair, exploring career paths in the skilled trades and connecting with industry leaders. The experience showcased the many opportunities available in this growing field. To top it off, the day ended on a high note as the students enjoyed a thrilling Diamondbacks game! ⚾

At COCSD, our Board has always prioritized high-quality professional development each year to stay informed about current trends in education. This year’s conference focused on important topics such as creating supportive and safe school environments, the latest trends in technology — including a look at what the schools of the future look like with the appropriate use of AI in schools — as well as strategies for high-quality staff development and setting high expectations for student achievement.
