🌞 Exciting News from Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District! 🌟 We’re thrilled to announce that enrollment for Camp Innovation 2025 — our district-wide summer school program — is officially OPEN! 🎉 Camp Innovation offers students an engaging, hands-on learning experience designed to spark creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning. 📚🧠✨ 🚨 Enrollment is first come, first served and spaces are limited to ensure every student gets the personalized attention they deserve. See below for Program Details: Dates: Monday, June 2 – Thursday, June 26 (Monday–Thursday) Hours: Rising 3rd–8th Grade: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM Rising 1st–2nd Grade: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM Middle School Leadership Academy (Rising 6th–8th Grade): A unique opportunity for students to develop leadership skills. Program Highlights: Students will receive academic support and engage in hands-on learning experiences at: The Science Vortex Cottonwood Public Library Cottonwood Pool Bent River Farm The curriculum promotes academic success while fostering creativity through STEM enrichment, art, and outdoor activities. Important: There will be no program on Thursday, June 19. A separate enrollment form must be completed for each child. Enrollment is only open to students attending one of COCSD’s four K-8 schools. Spaces are limited, and a confirmation email will be sent in the next few weeks to confirm your child’s enrollment. Fridays at the Farm – Optional Add-On Students can sign up for Fridays at the Farm and field trips as an immersive experience in our district’s agriculture program. After seeing an article in the paper about our need for bus drivers, Mr. Scott stepped up and became a vital part of our transportation team. Coming from the corporate world, Mr. Scott brought a high level of professionalism to our district. But beyond that, he has always been student-centered—putting the safety and well-being of our students first every day. His positive attitude, reliability, and commitment have made a lasting impact on our students and staff alike. As Mr. Scott moves on to his next endeavor, we want to wish him nothing but the best.
