Give your kids a Spring Break they’ll never forget!

DDB’s 7th and 8th-grade students have had many hands-on lessons this year. Making each project memorable!

🌟 Staff Highlight: Mrs. Tiana Bond – 3rd Grade Teacher at OCS 🍎📚
At OCS, we are incredibly fortunate to have teachers who pour their hearts into their classrooms every single day, and Mrs. Tiana Bond is a shining example of that dedication. As a 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Bond consistently goes above and beyond to create a classroom environment that is fun, engaging, and academically enriching for all of her students. ✏️✨
Mrs. Bond brings incredible enthusiasm to school each day and truly loves teaching her “friends”—as she affectionately calls her students. Her positive energy is contagious! 😊 Her class is always excited to come to school, eager to learn, and they know they are supported and valued every single day. ❤️
She is patient, kind, and deeply understanding, always meeting students where they are and helping them grow both academically and personally. Mrs. Bond works hard to make learning meaningful and memorable, ensuring that every student feels confident and capable. 🌱📖
The impact she has on her students and our school community is truly immeasurable. OCS simply wouldn’t be the same without her dedication, passion, and heart for teaching. 💙
Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Bond stays busy co-coaching club volleyball 🏐, exploring the outdoors through hiking 🥾, and spending quality time with her husband and their adorable infant daughter 👨👩👧.
👏 Thank you, Mrs. Bond, for everything you do for our students and our school community!

🌟 Staff Highlight: Ron Romero 🌟
We’re excited to spotlight Ron Romero, our new Learning Lab teacher at Verde Tech High School! Mr. Romero joined our team in December 2025 and brings 26 years of teaching experience to our campus.
Mr. Romero has extensive expertise in facilitating online high school courses, helping students stay on track and succeed in a flexible learning environment. He’s known for his patient and caring approach, while still maintaining high expectations that encourage students to do their very best.
Even though he hasn’t been at Verde Tech very long, Mr. Romero has already made a big impact on our campus. Outside of school, he enjoys traveling and watching NASCAR.
We’re grateful to have Mr. Romero as part of the Verde Tech team! 👏

We are so grateful for our partnership with Gardens for Humanity and for Ms. Marie, who spends time each week teaching our students about nature, animals, recycling, and creative arts & crafts.
Can you believe these colorful snakes were made out of paper towel rolls? 🐍 The kiddos had so much fun turning simple recycled materials into something amazing!
Thank you to Gardens for Humanity and Ms. Marie for sharing your time, knowledge, and creativity with our CCS students! 💚

Complete with a cash register, kitchen, and even special guests, these young chefs and servers were busy taking orders, cooking up pretend meals, and learning through imaginative play.
A big thank you to Ms. Way for creating such a fun and safe space for our students to play, learn, and grow after school! 👩🍳💛
